On the afternoon of November 17, 2023, a delegation led by Ding Jingrun, Director of the Foreign Investment Division of the Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, visited the platform to conduct research and discussions on international industrial investment cooperation. Wang Xi, Director of International Projects at the platform, warmly received the delegation and participated in the discussions.

Led by Wang Xi, Director Ding Jingrun and her delegation first visited the Microsoft Cloud and Mobile Technology Incubation Program—the Zhongyuan Longzihu Digital Economy Entrepreneurship and Innovation Incubation Center—part of the platform's digital economy sector. The incubation center, jointly established by the Zhengdong New Area Management Committee and Microsoft (China) Co., Ltd., is the first entrepreneurship and innovation incubation institution in Central China supported and assisted by Microsoft, focusing on the digital economy industry, and is an important component of the platform's international industrial investment cooperation.

At the symposium, the platform's representative, based on the incubation center, gave a detailed report to Director Ding Jingrun on the platform's achievements in building bridges for Sino-foreign non-governmental scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation, attracting advanced international projects, resources, and talent, and conducting international industrial investment cooperation. The representative stated that since its establishment in 2018, the platform has been entrusted by various local governments in Henan Province to conduct cooperative promotion, participate in international conferences, and carry out investment promotion activities overseas, gradually developing into a professional "third party" for government industrial investment promotion.

Director Ding Jingrun affirmed the platform's achievements in supporting Henan's international industrial development and introduced the upcoming second "International Industrial Investment Cooperation Series Activities." She expressed hope that the platform would continue to play its bridging role, telling the stories of China and Henan while upholding integrity and innovation, widely connecting with high-quality international cooperation resources, and deeply participating in this event.

Subsequently, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on event preparation, industry matching, and exploring innovative models for foreign investment development in Henan. Niu Xiaohua, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Department of the Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Yan Wenzhe, Chief Staff Member, and Liu Jiawen, International Project Specialist of the platform, attended the symposium.
